Garden

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

I am going to be working in my garden today getting it ready for planting. As well I will be setting up my greenhouse for it’s first planting season. I am quite excited to get it rolling. It’s a thing that happens with seed sowers (farmers). The truth is I love growing things - plants, animals, projects. It’s all good stuff! I have my camera with me, so I will take some photos and post them today and tomorrow. Have a great day! Love, David

The HUB

Monday, March 30th, 2009

WOW! I had a wonderful experience at the HUB yesterday. The Universe sowed it’s seeds of healing and spirit so beautifully. It was a joy for me to be the curator of that beauty, just the one in charge of recognizing the Universe at work. Spirit is working through the Universe in magical ways these days, it tickles me to witness how playful, vibrant, and expressive Universal Energy Flow really is. It is amazing!

Many people are communicating about the opportunity in these times, I am shouting about it! The canvass is stretched wide for the human to express their inner depths. Human beings are learning the truth resides in their relationship with the Universe as it is experienced through the heart. It does not rely on someone else providing the interpretation of that experience, that classroom is inside of the individual. Paint your own truth, score your own hymn from your heart, write about your courage to step forward and heal your life now! It is time, and it can fulfill you. What an opportunity!

Just as the positive approach provides opportunity, there is the counter-balance, the challenge, the contraction. Do we need to go there? If you are reading here, I doubt you and I need to go there. I suggest it is your job to lead through the empowered choice of opportunity. I promise it will not be boring, I promise it will not be the familiar, and there’s a good chance I will see you on this road. Know that there’s a hug and acknowledgment waiting for you. I will see you soon. Love, David

Community

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

The beauty of community is: it’s one big connected family. AND maybe it has a little more breathing room than your biological family. Sometimes community fills the void left by real family. Just the simple fact of showing up with a smile on your face community can grow. Smiles attract more smiles. Love attracts love, and more smiles. By coming together and helping each other we grow, we love, and we experience fulfillment - and that in and of itself can complete the cycle of being human. To grow, to experience love, and be fulfilled. That’s the garden of life. Sow some seeds in your community, help it grow, water it, spread some more seeds, and have a lot of fun doing it. Have a great day, I am going to help the Universe spread lot’s of seeds today. It’s a god day. Love, David

(yes that was a typo “good day” I meant to type, but you know what I’ll leave it as a god day.

this week

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

I have a fairly easy week, but it seems like I am always busy. I am currently tightening up my itinerary for all of my classes as I am continuing to develop more teachers training more healers out in the world. Who knows? Maybe one day soon I can retire! I’m sure the Universe will let me know what’s next. Don’t get me wrong, I love healing work. There is no doubt in my being that healing work has been a major thrust of my destiny this lifetime, and as I had said for many years I stopped being reluctant A LONG TIME AGO! Nevertheless, if the Universe told me to just write for a while I would do that, and it seems to be hinting towards that soon. I am open, paying attention, and I consider myself a good listener of Universal guidance. Let’s see what happens….until that moment, I will continue on with what I have been doing. I am very excited about the group I have scheduled at the HUB this weekend. It has been a while since I have done a group, and I have been receiving constant energy flow about this group. It is going to be special!

Healer Training - Level 2

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

I am getting ready for day 2 of the Healer Training class today. This is always an amazing class for me to teach because I see just how much the material in this class pushes people - in a great way! When you really look at your views about money, value, exchange, and purpose - amazing connections occur. It’s OK to be completely supported by the Universe because of the work you do. It is OK to be spiritual and feel supported abundantly by the universe. It might take a little work to increase your faith to the point of letting go of fears, and judgments about how you can be exchanging your energy with the Universe. The conditioning for most people is to look outside of oneself for the security of a job, income, benefits, 401k, etc…and this picture is sure foggy these days. I encourage you to take a look at your purpose. What are you here to do this lifetime? Are you doing that work yet? If you are, I bet you don’t even call it work.

If you can get on that team, create that flow with the Universe - that I am doing what I came here to do. I love it, it inspires me daily to do this exchange of energy with others, with myself, my art -> the Universe’s art -> I am just a conduit. The Universe feeds me with intuition, with guidance. I am open. I am paying attention. I am having FUN! My life is magical. I am a healer. I am healed. I can help others on this path. Others can help me. I am really having fun in this synchronistic flow. It is all connected! We are all connected. I feel fulfilled when I help others find their way. Others keep coming in helping me find my way. It is one big circle, like the earth, the sun, moon, and Universe. There is an abundance of energy for us all. When we are loving, and having faith, through our giving and receiving we feel supported. There is no recession, depression, or suppression. We are uplifted, guided, and set free by our agreement to have the faith to trust our purpose here on planet earth. Each of us has the “right to be” here now. We incarnated to be here participating in this consciousness in the year 2009. We take responsibility for what we are putting into the Universal pool of consciousness. We know the value of our consciousness and our beingness. It is an abundant Universe. We choose to be wise and conscious about how we engage with the resources the Mother Earth has provided us. It is wise to be clear about our consumption and the exchange of energy with all forms of consciousness, especially the natural resources that we are the protectors of, and the stewards over. It is time to awaken to our destiny as healers, teachers, communicators, and stewards of the earth, and of our fellow man. We can do this. Many are awaking to the call of the times. It is not about your age, it is about your age of consciousness. Come, go, travel in peace. Create your messages of art now. Create your messages of heart now. I hope to see you! Love, David

Are You Having Any Fun Yet?

Friday, March 20th, 2009

I thank God every day for my daughter, Ruby. We have so much fun together, and I continually laugh at her sense of humor. Our relationship makes me very happy!

All the healing work I do makes me very happy because I have a lot of fun doing it!

All the building I do on my place in NM makes me happy because I know I am building something for the future - for me and others.

I am having fun in my life, I hope you are too!

OK, I will share a story from my past. It is a significant and fun story for me to share. It comes from my great uncle Bill Faulkner. He was an amazing man and the best storyteller I have ever known. He had the most wonderful sense of humor and he was an adventurer to the utmost. I could tell stories all day long about my Uncle Bill, but there is one story that always tickles my fancy. Uncle Bill and Aunt Rose had a good size family with several kids, and uncle Bill loved to talk about his family and how special each child was. His eyes would light up and he would share the details so vividly that I would feel like I was alive with him in each moment he shared. Just when he had me leaning in the most, hanging on each word, he would wink and say, “You know my crow’s the blackest!” It’s kind of a Southern saying I guess, and it always reminded me of how special we can feel that our kids are. I mean we spend the most time with them. We see just how smart they are each day. So, today I share my “little crow” with you. Ruby’s 1st grade photo. Lot’s of Love, Light, and Fun to You!  David

Adventure

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Life is definitely an adventure! I am continually fascinated by the synchronicity of the journey. Enjoying the ride is more fun than resisting it. I can fess up to doing my share of resisting from time to time, and I get some really big laughs when I catch myself using excessive force because I know the Universe gets a bigger kick out of this than me. Therefore, the point of this entry is the ADVENTURE! I am having a lot of fun with the Adventure these days. I figure I might as well get out there, help people, and have as much fun as possible along the way! There’s not much reason to hole up and wait. I think we are in for a long season of change, and I might as well adapt to whatever the moment requires, as opposed to trying to make things stay the same. Nothing is going to stay the same. Change is good. Let it go. I trust I am here now to be enjoying this life in the year 2009. Why would I want to live in anything other than enjoyment, peace, and love?

Just a little sidenote…I am finding many people went a bit sideways on the last Full Moon, March 11. That’s when many curtailed their practice, shut down, and holed up. It’s Spring time, come on out and play! Love, David

NM

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

greenhouse.jpgI am in NM for a few days heading back to LA for the weekend. It has been a good time on the road with easy travel. I am here in Sandia Park putting the finishing touches on my greenhouse, and a couple of other projects. I love the greenhouse already, it is going to provide much lush, nutritious winter food. I can’t wait to get it growing! Of course I will include a photo, or two when the sun come up. I am excited to get this growing season going. Love, David

Walnut Tree

Monday, March 9th, 2009

My friend, Beth, requested I take a picture of the ice tree, which is the walnut tree in front of my parent’s house. Here it is free of ice, standing strong and tall as ever. The maple trees were not so lucky, most of them lost their tops and many of their branches.

Cattle Barn

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

I guess you would have to have grown up on the farm to appreciate the pictures I am showing right now. This is one of an old livestock barn behind my parents house, notice how the barn has swayed over time. It’s been standing for 60 years, and probably has another 40 or so years left in it.cattle-barn.jpg
