It is a gorgeous sunny day here in NM. I will be going on my bike ride in a few moments. I can already tell you that at least 50% of the ride I will be exchanging with all that is around me, and all that comes my way - including thoughts, people’s energy, and most importantly Universal guidance. My employer feeds me my daily itinerary when I am riding. Whatever the case I make mental notes of the flow and happily exchange with it. I understand why riding my bike is a time of great reception for me, number one I have spent a lot of time on a mountain bike and it is a meditation for me; and number two, it is very similar to my childhood of driving tractors. I was explaining to someone this weekend that I learned to meditate at ten years old driving a tractor 10-12 hours a day. There was no room for unconsciousness on a farm implement, if I was cultivating row crops (corn, soybeans, and tobacco) I would literally have 3-4 inches of leeway before I would be plowing up the crop, otherwise the tractor would have to be driven perfectly down the center of the rows. Can you imagine focusing down the center of a mile long corn row, and doing this for 10 hours straight, for 1-2 weeks? There are many activities on the farm that were amazing spiritual practices, and they prepared me in a very unique way for who I am today. I have a symbiotic relationship with mechanical things, so did my father. It’s amazing to me how much I miss him, and all the knowledge he continually shared with those around him. I’m kind of like that, I gather information, access it, and share it with others. My dad noticed in great detail weather patterns, growing seasons, plants needs, the natural world, mechanical precision, high performance engines, etc. I really have most of the same recognitions. He enjoyed taking things apart, fixing them, and putting them back together. He was a healer of most things he came into contact with. His toughest relationships were with his father, and his son. I am glad we healed most of our karma before he passed. I still miss him though. I suppose the sunshine and the rain last night has stimulated the memories and the farmer in me. Everything is so alive here! It reminds me of the feelings of joy when it would come a nice rain during the growing season, how everything would relax and respond. I reckon my father is close to me this morning, I will take him on the ride with me and see what he has to exchange with me…love, David

After a retreat I generally need some good rest and solitude for a few days. I will get some of that before I head back to LA Friday night. But of course there is some post retreat wrap up, as well as garden and greenhouse cultivation, which are all part of my days rest. It’s all part of the meditation with the property here, and I have to say after this retreat the place is in great shape. People were very respectful and conscious with the grounds, and there’s not that many things for me to repair, which is great by me. All and all, I am very happy with the outcome of this Memorial Day retreat. I think we all had a wonderful time, and the food was great! I really enjoyed preparing the smoked country ham, which is not the typical retreat food, however it fit in nicely under the topic of Food Preservation.

As I let myself re-generate I will be easing back into the blog with some new prospectives…they are gestating and germinating right now, and it looks like they may get some watering before the day is out. Stay tuned…love, David

I am awake this morning feeling the completion of this Memorial Day Retreat demonstrated through the closing circle this morning. I always look forward to this part of the retreat, because resistance levels are at their lowest and people are easiest to work with. Generally their hearts are wide open, and that’s the case with this bunch of beautiful people Everything has been truly magical this weekend! There has been amazing support from everyone, the weather has been non-typically moist and energizing, the food - WELL - let’s just say the food has been alive and full of life force. We have cleansed, eaten, breathed, relaxed, and enjoyed each other’s company to the max. I’ll check back in later today, so stay tuned! Love, David

It is always an interesting navigation at any retreat when the herd starts to arrive. As the facilitator it is important to stay clear, grounded, open, and ready. I teach people about how to do this in Healer Training - level 3. Now I get to walk my talk! There is a big wave of energy coming my way, and I am exchanging with the Universe practicing, meditating, and having faith. My employer has a plan with this group, I am just the gardener for it.
I had an interesting thought come to me as I was riding my bike yesterday. I was thinking about the way I think, feel, and petal through life. I realized my thoughts are my meditation, my actions are my prayers. My life is conscious, guided and sacred as long as I am in the moment with it. Anything that pulls me out of the moment takes me out of the meditation and prayer. The Universe is actively guiding me, exchanging with me, and supporting me when I am in the moment. So, I am even more attuned to rooting myself into the demonstration of my faith. Teaching is about sharing for me. I like to share everything I know in the helping of others. I expect to have a great time with people this weekend, it’s a family reunion. Love, David

I look at the weather forecast for the Memorial Day weekend, it’s calling for a high chance of rain some of the time. Normally I would be concerned, but in this instance I am very excited, the rain in NM is very energizing, invigorating, and cleansing. I welcome it! If it means we have to adjust our schedule a bit, so be it. One of the topics for this retreat is “working with water”, so as you can tell I have been exchanging with the weather already. If you live anywhere out West you have probably grown accustomed to welcoming the rain. But think about how you engage with the elements - water as rain, fire as sunshine, air as wind, earth as dirt. Are you afraid of them? Do they push your comfort zones?

Think about all of the stuff it brings up in you when you get wet from the rain, or when you are in direct sunlight, or out on a windy day, or having to work with dirt. I’m bringing this up to get you to think about the ways your fears and judgments of the elements keep you from exchanging with them. It is important to learn to address the elements as an expression of the bigger family we belong to. If you are engaging with the elements they will engage with you and help you heal, cleanse, and rejuvenate. AND, if you say, I do this I engage, it is important to not just be in communication with the elements when it feels good, some of the most important lessons from the Universe have to do with the way the elements teach us through change, discomfort, and balance. Ultimately, Mother Nature expresses herself through the content of the elements, the elements are a primary language for her. When energies are out of balance and creating disharmony in the function of the natural world an elemental expression is used to bring the earth energies back to harmony. We as humans are one of the major players in destabilizing the natural flow of the earth energies, we are also one of the most reactive species on the earth questioning why Mother Nature works the way she does. Habitually we tend to overlook what we have done to cause the imbalance. Again I bring this to you to think about the ways you can harmonize with the expression of Mother Nature, the ways you can exchange with all of her power, and the ways you can use it in your own intuitional process. It’s all right there, we just have to read the signs.

I choose to live and thrive, life is too precious to miss out on the beauty of each moment by missing them. For the sake of being redundant I encourage you to engage energy, awareness, and life force with the Universe you exist in. It will exchange multitudes back with you. Carry on…love, David

Everything is bursting w/ Life Force!

We are having a gorgeous thunder storm right now in NM. It’s one of the most romantically beautiful storms I have ever experienced! Thunder and lightning everywhere, fire and rain! The trees and plants are loving it. I am loving it. I have never smelled air so full of energy. I have been out in the rain showers for about an hour, finally the lightning got a bit close and I headed in, only to put on some dry clothes and prop myself up in a rocking chair by the door. The rains in the mountains of NM are unbelievable. We usually don’t get much rain this time of year, it’s a month and a half early for the monsoons of July, nevertheless LET IT RAIN! I have been exchanging with Mother Nature all day, it has sprinkled a few times off and on today, now we are getting a heavy shower. I added some Azomite minerals to my garden yesterday and prayed for rain - so I am ecstatic. Rains like this activate all living things, the lightning brings balance to the landscape. Each time the lightning strikes the earth energy is released, all the positively charged static electricity is neutralized, everything breaths, and everything grows. I can’t wait to see the garden in the morning. The plants will have absorbed the minerals, which act like a homeopathic remedy addressing any imbalances within the soil and consequently the plant. It’s very natural, these minerals come from a mine in Utah, they are an ancient sea deposit that uniquely has all the minerals A-Z present in them. I like to add a light dusting to the soil each year right before a rain, guess I got lucky this year! Anyway it’s the small things that make me this happy, and if you get a chance to eat some of these vegetables - look out! They will be full of life force. I have built this soil for 3 years now, and it’s one of those relationships that gets better and better with time. I will take pictures in the morning. As you may remember I jumped the gun this year and planted a month and a half too early, according to the locals, it could have all frozen many times, but for some good intention most of the plants not only survived - they thrived! I am very excited for the weekend, I take all of this as an excellent affirmation from the Universe that thriving is a good thing in these times. Pictures in the morning…love, David

(This entry is more confronting than recent entries, so read it carefully and think about the way your psychic awareness has grown in the last few years).

We are in an amazing time here on planet earth, and psychic awareness is growing exponentially for all sentient beings. We have always been spiritually connected to each other, but few knew how to read the signs, few knew how to trust the connection. The time of instant information is here, we don’t need to wait to have our needs met for information. We can call anywhere in the world from anywhere in the world, we can Google for resource about anything, if you can imagine it you can just about do it. Even the information tools are becoming more and more human, and psychically connected to us. Think about when you are intensely troubled by something and none of your electronics will work - especially cell phone, computer. Think about the way you live with these tools, they have become an appendage, a part of you. They are continuously being developed to flow with you, satisfy your every need. It’s kind of strange, sci-fi, and wonderful all at the same time. How is all of this contributing to the psychic development of human’s? As technology is speeding up it’s speeding us up. Our brains are stimulated to the point where even multi-tasking is becoming a mundane effort. It’s incredibly hard to slow ourselves down. (Try hand writing exchange 100 times!) Psychic information flows at the speed of light, the speed of sound, and the speed of feeling (speed of light is the fastest by far). Most technological information is flowing at the speed of light through fiber optics and crystals. Cell phones, computers, TV’s, are taking us into the moment as phenomena is happening. Sometimes this is good, sometimes it can create out of balance situations with humans. At the top of the food chain we are masters at the shortcut. We grow dependent on the easy way to do things, the easy way to get our needs met. Out of balance situations are created when the pickings are easy, we grow fat, lazy, and ungrateful for our existence. Illusion occurs because the exchange is not there. There is not an exchange of energy for the easy pickings, or low hanging fruit. Through this out-of-balance development (i.e. financial situation in the world) people also accelerate their survival dependencies which are generally fear driven. In this tornado of energy there is great psychic use and misuse, or abuse. Remember as a human you will generally crave the shortcut, as you have been speeding up in your information processing you have also become more psychically aware of things around getting your needs met, and met fast. The question arises are the needs stimulated by easy picking, or survival, neither of which deal with exchange. If exchange is off, then your psychic data will be off. It will still be flowing, but it will be off. This is where the planet is teetering these days. We have become so psychically available, but the issue is to what? Unless you are grounded into the Mother Earth, clear about why you are here, doing the work you came here to do, on track with your intuition and very clear how you are using it - there’s a good chance you will get caught in the psychic misuse around you. The best filter you can be using for protection, clarity, and flow is EXCHANGE! If you are exchanging with the Universe, if your employer is stamping your time card, if your benefit package is full of Grace, then you will enjoy the ride. And it’s a wonderful time to be alive, it’s a wonderful time to be here on Earth as this all unfolds. We are witnessing a great time in human evolution, it is vitally important to know how you are developing your gifts. Who knows one day you may really need them? It would be important to trust them 100%, it is important to be able to trust your gifts now. Onward. Love, David

Exchange is the magical word these days for me. It is teaching me so much. I am going to write it 100 times. Exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange, exchange…I’m not a fast typist, but what if I hand write it 100 times? I am going to try it as a meditation, and I will listen, see, and feel what happens. Maybe you want to try it too. I’ll let you know what happens later today. Love, David

The ATM for the Universal Bank is not some external machine, it is an internal machine of great intelligence - the heart. How handy is that? My employer is continually making deposits into my account as I do my life’s work, and as I keep choosing to exchange spiritual energy with the Universe the account keeps growing. Another important key, I don’t need to call it my account anymore. It’s the Universe’s account, the Universe does the accounting, handles debt, balances the books, and deals with all tithing opportunities. I end up with  access to whatever resources are flowing. My needs are met based on the degree of Grace I have built up -> and limitless abundance occurs when I release my Grace back to the Universe enhanced with the energy of Love. It’s all a circle. As I release ownership the Universal flow expands to limitless abundance. The degree of purpose I stand and live for existing and perpetuating through my eternal spirit ultimately gives me direction, choice, and the observance of free will. The recognition of the order and laws of causation within the Universal Flow is an art form. Few recognize the beauty. Religions have tried to demarcate this jurisdiction for millennium…I like to keep it simple. Open your heart, ask it for guidance, develop your intuition, pay attention to the Universe, and decide how you want to play the game. The choice is up to you. The experience is up to you.
